Hello Chip, I did a little research for you and it looks hopeful. “Even when a person is deaf binaural beats can work. Delta brainwaves, resonating at 1Hz-4Hz, usually only occur in the deeper levels of sleep. First of all thank you for your amazing website, I have a question regarding these matters, I can make both binaural beats and isochronic tones for myself but I doubt for low frequencies states (Theta and Delta) which one is better? Because I searched a lot and saw that binaural beats are better for low frequencies and for high frequencies (Beta Gamma Lambda….) isochronic tones are more effective. Also, for Alpha states some said isochronic and other said binaural.

In total honesty I do feel that brainwave entrainment is safe, and that the big point is not to over-use it, or to push yourself too hard. Generally I think you are safe to listen to the audio you made, I just recommend taking it gradually with gamma in particular. But even then I recommend only listening once per day, and taking one day off per week.

As somewhat of a modern mystic, I have studied altered states of consciousness, but due to my monkey mind, I have only been able to experience them to a very minor degree.
