Science, yes. Fiction, no. Every one of these results has been experienced and reported to us by participants in the program we’ve created around Holosync®, our proprietary version of this amazing audio technology. We call the program The Holosync Solution™, and believe me, it really will be the end of your search for a personal growth and mind development tool that really works.
The only thing I have found lacking in using your product is that there is no place on your website to register my kudos to you for such an excellent product. I am not new to meditation, nor to brain entrainment products, and I found you product to be really outstanding. I’m completely hooked, love listening to the tracks and they are the best way ever to treat monkey mind. Bada boom, bada bing, in just a few minutes any aggravation I’m experiencing in the outside world, melts away and I am one very blissful and happy camper.

Thanks, this was the kind of article I was looking for. I most have gotten over excited as I read a post about a guy who had major success with 40hz binaural beats. I wanted to make my own experiment, but I see now that I will need to continue my research and gather more background information. Maybe one should have his physiology examined? In order to have a professional opinion on whether or not it will be altered or damaged by use of brainwave entrainment (Maybe you happen to be a very vulnerable individual). Getting trustworthy guidance from an experienced source would also be nice 🙂
BrainAscend is a completely free meditation program featuring 5 deepening levels, meaning 5 free MP3 tracks using brainwave entrainment technology, created by Marcus Knudsen, inventor of BlissCoded sound. It uses the scientifically proven most effective brainwave entrainment technology in a special process that steadily expands your brain power and consciousness level.
We all experience different states of mind each day: states such as sleep, focus, or creativity, for example. Every state of mind has a unique electrical signature that can be detected in the brain. These signatures are known as “brainwaves.” Using specialized equipment, these waves (or frequencies) can be measured and recorded, allowing us to map what brainwaves are present during certain key states of mind.
That is a general assumption people make but there isn’t really much science to back it up. What we do know though is that isochronic tones are ineffective below 4hz, and possibly a bit higher. So for theta and delta entrainment you are best off with binaural beats. In my experience binaural beats will be very effective all the way up to around 40hz.
Theta waves have another interesting characteristic. The Earth has a measurable resonance of 7.83 hertz known as the Schumann resonance. Because the Schumann resonance is a constant background frequency surrounding all life, it may play a special role in biological activity. The Schumann resonance frequency falls within the range of theta brainwaves and may have something to do with why these brainwave frequencies are so powerful.
Isochronic tones have only been proven to have an effect while you are listening to them, that’s why you won’t find me claiming anywhere that there are potentially positive long-term effects. Once the tones stop, your brainwaves are no longer being stimulated by the sound and so they stop being in sync with the tone frequency. For you to think you are still feeling the effects after all this time and from such a short time listening to them, I think it may be linked to anxiety. I know that some people who are new to this type of thing can build up a strong feeling of anxiety, after worrying about the potential effects brought on by fear of the unknown. I suspect the problem may be psychological with you worrying about the potential effects and keep repeating the experience from memory in your head. When you keep going over the same thing in your head like that and worrying about it, it’s easy to then spot other potential side-effects like how your nostrils and body temp is feeling, then making links back to that experience and labelling that as the reason. I think the best way to overcome this is to realise that the side-effects you are mentioning are completely unrelated, so there is nothing to worry about. These tracks are literally listened to for millions of hours a month on YouTube across loads of channels. If the effects lasted for a long time people would just listen for 5 minutes and come back in a couple of weeks. But people keep coming back to listen because that’s the only way to feel the benefit and effects…while you are listening to them. If you are unable to stop thinking and worrying about this on our own, I recommend that you speak to your doctor about it or a specialist in dealing with anxiety issues. I hope that helps.
The implications and potential benefits of brainwave entrainment technology are staggering, and a seemingly infinite amount of doors have been opened to be explored.  This technology is highly useful in the self-help/personal development field in a variety of ways.  It can also be used to enhance NLP and hypnosis recordings to make the mind more receptive to suggestion.  Brainwave entrainment can be applied to help people fall asleep, to improve focus and concentration, or to relax.  Recent and modern experiments are also being held to see if brainwave entrainment may help  to treat and/or cure mental “disorders” such as depression or ADD.  One of the most common and popular uses of brainwave entrainment is to effortlessly induce deep meditative states.

The fastest way to make brainwave entrainment technology work for you on your path of spiritual development is to pull back ever so slightly once you realize you have reached the peak of your nervous system’s capacity to recover from the stimulus. Because your nervous system is like a sine wave, when it is about to go into its valley, you pull back just a little bit, thereby giving your nervous system, energetic system, and hormonal system enough room to pull out all of their recovery powers. This allows you to recover from stimulus more quickly, and then you get past the waning stage and back to the waxing stage, where you can start pouring on the juice a little bit more again.
And this is exactly true. Have you heard about walnuts improving your memory and being extremely healthy for you when eaten raw? A doctor can confirm this information for you. Try eating too many of them, especially in the afternoon – you will end up nauseous, and if you have a relatively low blood pressure, you can even drive yourself to a nearly unconscious state. Except for their healthy benefits, walnuts tend to lower blood pressure, and when eaten in excess, they can have some very nasty effects on your body. Does this mean you should never eat walnuts, and never benefit from their wonderful qualities? Of course not!

I loved it All However because of serious blood pressure issues one of those beats isn’t doing well with my chest. Im getting pains. I want to BELIEVE that it flowing thru and because like everything in life gotta go thru some pain and discomfort to true set the negative vibes free. Thats what I think however could be wrong not an expert at this yet but can BECOME One overtime with Practice.
Alpha (12hz – 8hz) – Awake, but deeply relaxed. Simply closing your eyes will produce alpha brainwaves. This category is associated with daydreaming, visualization, imagination, light meditation. Brainwave expert Anna Wise called the alpha range the bridge between beta and theta. (More information can be found in Wise’ book The High-Performance Mind)
Hi Et, In all the feedback and studies I’ve read and looked into over the years, I’ve seen lots of feedback from people talking about how they don’t like the sound of the tones, or they find them irritating in some way. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any particular reason why one person likes it and the next doesn’t. It’s a bit like normal music, one person’s sweet symphony is another person pneumatic drill. It’s common for people to find it weird and maybe annoying at first, which is how I felt in the beginning. But usually after a few listens you can start to get used to it and appreciate the sound, and especially the feeling it gives you. Personally, I think it can help if you try to embrace the sound, psychologically speaking beforehand. It can also help to have the sound playing at a very low volume, to begin with, then building it up as you get more used to it.
Please feel free to browse through the reviews in the navigation bar, as I have personally tested each and every product listed for an extended amount of time.  Also, do check out the brainwave entrainment audios and bundles we offer as well. Only the best products have even been able to make it onto this site. Rest assured that the products you are reading up are the “cream of the crop” as far as brainwave entrainment audio quality, and overall effectiveness.
Rudy's primary work is on Alzheimer's. In this disease, beta amyloid proteins form plaques in the brain and kill nerve cells eventually leading to dementia. Research from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis shows that when people's brains are in a Delta brain wave state, beta amyloid production in the brain ceases and the toxic material is cleared away. One thought is to explore the possibility of using brain entrainment technology to help treat Alzheimer's, but at this point all it is being used for is to help people meditate, relax and dream instantly and effortlessly.

Good to hear from you and glad you got some value from the article. In total honesty I do feel that brainwave entrainment is safe, and that the big point is not to over-use it, or to push yourself too hard. You can almost think of it like an herb or nutritional supplement. You don’t expect big results the day/week of taking it, and if you don’t get results, you don’t keep taking more. You take it in regular safe doses over a recommended period of time and let it synergistically work its magic. Generally I think you are safe to listen to the audio you made, I just recommend taking it gradually with gamma in particular. Listen for just 10-15 minutes at first and see how your brain handles it. If it doesn’t produce any unwanted feelings then jump right in. But even then I recommend only listening once per day, and taking one day off per week.

I have seen 1.5Hz being linked to HGH, but also 4 or 5 other frequencies as well, so it’s difficult to know what may work if any. I haven’t seen any research relating to HGH and brainwave entrainment. It’s widely believed that 40Hz is the limit for achieving a brainwave entrainment effect, which is also where many believe the gamma frequency range begins. Once you get over 40Hz into gamma your brainwave activity isn’t likely to stay in sync with it. So from a brainwave entrainment perspective, I recommend high beta frequencies for increasing energy during workouts.
For me, brainwave entrainment actually helped me more easily meditate on my own without the technology. There is definitely evidence to suggest that the neural pathways that form from listening to these audios aids the brain in better producing these brainwaves on its own moving forward. Though I used brainwave entrainment for several years, almost daily, there was also a point in my life where I went without the technology and meditated daily on my own. I believe that even this practice was accelerated drastically by my listening to bwe in the past.
Hi Amandeep. I am so sorry to hear you are having these troubles. I am not familiar with Marisa Peers materials, so I cannot comment on this, but I can tell you we have never had an experience like this reported from using the audios we offer on this site. I would cease any and all hypnosis or brainwave entrainment audios, and contact your doctor. The issues you are mentioning sound like they could be a physical issue that may be related to more than the audios you’ve listened to.
With almost 100 years of research validating the effectiveness of brainwave entrainment, it’s no wonder why it’s used by thousands of people all over the world. What does the future entail in this exciting field? With the adoption of smartphones, virtual and augmented reality, and advancements in technology reducing the cost of EEG and other forms of biofeedback devices, the entrainment possibilities are endless.
I definitely NEED (& can feel a difference mentally) Gamma the most. Beta and Alpha do better my processing. Theta waves are TERRIBLE! My normal symptoms increase when listening to those frequencies! Delta has been helpful for me around nighttime. It has helped my sleep on occasion. *Note: Do not listen to higher frequencies (Gamma, Beta) before bedtime! They will keep you very alert.
Specific tones that resonate at certain frequencies are created and embedded within the acoustic architecture of the original waveform. Your brainwaves latch onto these embedded carrier frequencies and attune themselves to the same vibratory rate. Brainwave entrainment now occurs that is similar to binaural beats yet there is no need for headphones to deliver these entrainment effects.

Well, I finally listened to “Equisync III” after listening to “Equisync I” & the “Equisync II” several times. Let me just say that this put me in another state of consciousness within 7 minutes(guessing) it was beautiful! I meditated throughout the entire 70 minute CD set! It didn’t feel like 70 minutes. I could feel energy in my neck, my solar plexus area and at the brow of my head! Definitely NOT for beginners!
The reason I am telling you this is to consider that it is critical for you to seek advice from sources that have wide-spreading experience with brainwave entrainment. Having personally used the technology for over 13 years, in combination with many other more ‘traditional’ methods such as yoga, meditation, visualizations, positive affirmations, NLP, etc., I believe that my personal experiences and the in-depth research I have conducted in order to make sure I approach this safely, can serve as a good starting point for you.
“…humans have always been intrigued by the possibilities for influencing mental functioning that emerge from combining rhythmic sound and rhythmic light stimulation. Ancient rituals for entering trance states often involved both rhythmic sounds in the form of drum beats, clapping, or chanting and flickering lights produced by candles, torches, bonfires, or long lines of human bodies passing before the fire and chopping the light into mesmerizing rhythmic flashes. From Greek plays to Western opera, our most popular entertainment forms have made use of combinations of lights and sounds. Some composers, such as the visionary Scriabin, actually created music intended to be experienced in combination with rhythmic light displays.”
"I'm not writing with a question, but to THANK YOU for these CDs. I originally bought The Meditation Program with the intention of returning it, believing it to be nothing more than just 'another piece of hype.' Wow, I was wrong. This was the turning point in my life. You gave me strength, and stability, and literally changed everything around. I feel GREAT, and it's thanks to YOU. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for The Meditation Program CDs. I am a true dedicated customer of yours!"
Audio-visual entrainment (AVE) is an effective tool for dissociating the depressed/anxious person out of his/her destructive thoughts. Even with increasing anxiety, AVE has been shown to reduce heart rate … reduce jaw tension from stress … increase blood flow in the eyes … and increase peak-alpha frequency … Many homes have two to three [AVE] systems in them for family members to use following a stressful, tiring day in the modern world.

Most of our Royalty Free brainwave entrainment music uses an audio technology known as "binaural beats". These binaural beats are embedded in the music in order to bring about desirable changes in brainwave activity, thereby encouraging various states of relaxation, deep meditation or sleep. When played with headphones, you may be able to hear the binaural beats as a subtle pulsing sound beneath the music.

The Alpha waves have for years been the most popular frequencies to use during Brainwave Entrainment. They have the ability to enhance light relaxation as well as positive thinking and they are often utilized for enhancing what is known as ‘super learning ability’. The Beta waves have a frequency of 13-25 Hz and they assist in enhancing a standard state of alertness. In addition, they are an effective remedy for both stress and anxiety.
