For centuries, brainwave entrainment has been associated with a number of benefits. Of the range of brainwave states that exist there are four frequencies that are the focus of brainwave entrainment; each of these states has a different physiological effect and achieves a different result. What they have in common is the power to trigger your state of mind in order to get a specific outcome.
I have had your Equisync CD’s for a little more than 2 years. Some recent stresses prompted me to start listening to them again. Wow……these cd’s are no joke. I have been playing them consistently for the past 2 weeks and they are a tremendous help. I have to ask about the Equisync III cds. Can this elicit a detox reaction? I played it in its entirety one night and the next morning I felt like I was having a healing crisis. I am not complaining 🙂 I believe these particular cds allows tremendous amounts of healing light to enter the body through the higher chakras.
3) God Consciousness from Ennora. Wow - quite a name, no? Hmm - well I don't know if I felt God, but I certainly felt something ... and at the time of writing, they have got a massive sale on, with downloads costing $11 (rather than $25), so you'd be mad not to leap at this if you're the spiritual type. This isn't the only reason to choose Ennora, however - this recording has got brilliant, soothing rain sounds, it works, and it certainly gave me the advertised "everything will seem perfect". 30 minutes long again. Good stuff, perhaps not one for the atheists though :)
So how’s that novel coming? Your new song? What about that program you were going to write? Or the website you wanted to build? If your creative project, no matter what it is, isn’t coming along as smoothly or as quickly as you’d hoped, you’re not alone. After a lot of soul-searching, research, and banging my head against the wall, I've learned a lot about creative flow, and I'd like to share these tools, tactics, and insights with you. But back to where we started... It’s not that you didn’t … [Read more...]
The pitch frequency measures and describes what a beat sounds like, i.e. does the isochronic beat have a deeper bass sound, or is it high pitched and sharper sounding? The beat waveform frequency describes how many times the beat is repeating per second, i.e. how fast it is beating. You don’t really need to concern yourself about the pitch frequency, as that doesn’t have a direct influence on brainwave entrainment and doesn’t play a part on the measurement on an EEG. I only mentioned it because you were referring to humans not being able to hear below 20Hz. I change the pitch frequency just to suit the mood of the track. For tracks that are to be relaxing, for meditation or sleep, I tend to use a lower pitch frequency so it sounds deeper and more relaxing and I never have that lower than 100Hz. For an energizing, high focus track I might use a more higher pitched 200Hz isochronic tone, because that is sharper sounding and less likely to make you feel sleepy. That’s all you really need to know about the pitch frequency.

I’m kind of new to brainwave entrainment. So even though I might have been skeptic at first, my very first experience was rather surprising. I know, I’m probably among millions of people expressing the effects and benefits of brainwave enhancing auditory stimuli. But truth be told, if you have the right tone, the perfect serene place, and an unshakable determination? Then you’re on the right track. So I’d say? Give brainwave entrainment a try. You’re bound to feel the great benefits of these powerful, yet simple methods of mental boosters. Oh! Before I forget. Thank you for the interesting script mademoiselle. 🙂
- Added the ability to create a playlist of your own iTunes library music and use it as background. The behavior of the app with iTunes music is used instead of, or combined with our included ambience, is slightly different so please review the help. Notably, unlike our included ambience which can be played at a volume below the device volume, iTunes audio can only be played at the device volume. So when in iTunes mode the Ambience volume slider disappears.
The frequencies embedded into each NeuralSync™ audio integrate three audible tones with a fourth subliminal pulse. This inclusion of both audible and subliminal entrainment engages brainwaves far more efficiently than single protocols such as standard meditation practices, binaural beats or isochronic tones. Because this waveform is also balanced, it compels both sides of the brain into hemispheric synchronization much more easily and effectively than other methods.
Isochronic tones are basically just a single tone with the volume being turned on and off at regular intervals. When you apply the same effects to music or a noise, it’s usually referred to as amplitude entrainment effects (in Mind Workstation anyway). When you apply the on/off effect to music or noise it’s usually done by targeting a specific frequency range in the sound and only turning that part on/off, leaving the rest of the music/noise untouched. What that does is allow parts of the music/noise to play without being distorted/interrupted, making it sound more pleasant to listen to. It produces a kind of fluttering sound as I like to call it and you can adjust the level of intensity.
By exposing an individual to repeatedly external stimulus which can be flashing lights and/or recurring sounds, the entrainment process consists in pushing the brain to adjust to match the frequency provided. Unlike other forms of neurotherapy which require the individual to actively respond to stimulus, entrainment creates an immediate neurophysical response which is instinctive and effortless for the person being provided with the light and/or sound combinations. The key outcome of the sensory stimulation is known as the ‘Frequency Following Response’.
Well, I finally listened to “Equisync III” after listening to “Equisync I” & the “Equisync II” several times. Let me just say that this put me in another state of consciousness within 7 minutes(guessing) it was beautiful! I meditated throughout the entire 70 minute CD set! It didn’t feel like 70 minutes. I could feel energy in my neck, my solar plexus area and at the brow of my head! Definitely NOT for beginners!
Hello Chip, I did a little research for you and it looks hopeful. “Even when a person is deaf binaural beats can work. By putting the headphones with the binaural recordings behind the ear, the sound waves travel to the brain through the scull and entrain the brain just the same.” I can not corroborate 100% that this id a fact, however, if you are willing to give it a go I would love to hear how this technique works for you. Please keep my updated as to your progress and results. ~ Maya
Robert Monroe, a radio producer and executive published a popular book called Journeys Out of the Body about his out-of-body experiences when using brainwave entrainment. He later founded an original brainwave entrainment audio company, Hemi Sync. In 1981, the book Mega Brain by Michael Hutchison brought brainwave entrainment information, techniques, and terminology into the popular press.
The functional role of neural oscillations is still not fully understood; however they have been shown to correlate with emotional responses, motor control, and a number of cognitive functions including information transfer, perception, and memory. Specifically, neural oscillations, in particular theta activity, are extensively linked to memory function, and coupling between theta and gamma activity is considered to be vital for memory functions, including episodic memory.
